Search in Creditsafe
Search in Creditsafe is what you use on a daily basis for finding companies. You can search by name, address etc., or by VAT registration number and registration number. Depending on which country you search in, the VAT Registration No. and/or Registration No. fields are enabled. If you specify a VAT registration number or registration number that number is used for the search. Based on a search results you can create, or link to existing, customers, vendors and contacts.
In the example below inactive companies were included in the search. Any company that is not active is marked red and italic.
Fields
| Name | Description |

| Name | Specifies the company name. |
| Address (simplified) | Specifies a simplified address. Addresses are formatted differently between countries. In the fact box you can see the full address information. By default the address fields "Address", "Post Code" and "City" are used if integration with customer and/or vendor has been enabled. The simplified address is only used for display. |
| Saved | Specifies if the company is saved in Business Central as a Monitoring Object. |
| Customer No. | Specifies the customer number if the monitoring object has been linked to a customer. |
| Vendor No. | Specifies the vendor number if the monitoring object has been linked to a vendor. |

The factbox displays more detailed information about the current search result line.

| Link to Contact | Saves the company as a monitoring object and opens a list of contacts to link the monitoring object to. |
| Get Report Data | Downloads report data from Creditsafe and shows the result in a list page. |
| Get PDF Report | Downloads a pdf report from Creditsafe. |
| Credit Check | Performs a credit check. |
