The swedish datasource uses a templates defined on the Creditsafe web portal while the other datasources use rules defined in Business Central. The rules defined in Business Central is based on report parameters in data reports.

Report data templates

The example below shows three credit templates defined for the Global Connect datasource.

Note

The three credit templates in the example below are only examples to give an idea on how to setup credit templates.

Credit Template Description
GB A credit template created for companies in Great Britain. A reason for creating a country specific template can be that Creditsafe provides data for a report parameter in a specific and this parameter is of interest in credit checks. Another reason can be to set different requirements on e.g. ranking on different countries.
MANUAL A template that do not refer to a data report, has no rules and never rejects a credit check. A reason for a template like this can be to exclude specific monitoring objects completely from credit check.
STD A default template for the datasource. The Assisted Setup creates the template STD by default.

When doing a credit check using a report data based template, the data report is pulled from Creditsafe and the rules defined for the template is compared with the actual report data on the corresponding parameters. If a report with the current data already exists in Business Centra, that report is used.

On-line templates

The second example shows credit templates for the Swedish datasource which use an on-line template (called Online Block below), defined at Creditsafe. When a credit check is performed a web service call is executed with a specific web service method for credit check and the company registration number is appended to the request body. Creditsafe then responses with any rejections. If no rejections are received the credit check is successful.

The example below shows two credit templates defined for the Swedish datasource.

Note

The two credit templates in the example below are only examples to give an idea on how to setup credit templates.

Credit Template Description
MANUAL A template that do not refer to an Online Block Name, has no rules and never rejects a credit check. A reason for a template like this can be to exclude specific monitoring objects completly from credit check.
STD A template that will request Creditsafe for a credit check and use the specified Online Block Name together with the registration number to perform a credit check based in the rules defined on the Creditsafe portal for the specified Online Block Name.
